DIRECTIONS TO THE RIVERFRONT PLAYHOUSE

THE RIVERFRONT PLAYHOUSE is located on the Water Street Mall in downtown Aurora. The Water Street Mall is a plaza or walkway that is 1/2 block west of and parallel to Broadway or Route 25 in the block that runs between Galena Boulevard and Downer Place. We are on the east side of the east branch of the Fox River, directly across the Fox from The Paramount Arts Centre.

From the east:
Take Route 88 (the East-West Tollway) west to the Route 31 exit (first exit after the Aurora tollbooth)
Turn right (south)
Travel approximately 2.2 miles to Galena Blvd. Turn left.
The Water Street Mall is between the second and third traffic light: (#1 = River and Galena; #2 = Stolp and Galena; #3 = Broadway and Galena).

From the west:
Take Route 88 (the East-West Tollway) east to the Route 31 exit (first exit after the Orchard Road exit)
Turn right (south)
Travel approximately 2.2 miles to Galena Blvd. Turn left.

From the north: 2 ways to pick from!
1. Take Route 31 south to Galena Blvd.
Turn left.

2. Take Route 25 south (in Aurora, Route 25 becomes known as Broadway) to Galena Blvd.
From the south:
Take Route 31 north to Gale Street. (follow the signs for Route 31 -- you must turn right here to stay on 31.
Turn left on River Street (again, follow the signs for Route 31)
At the third stop light (#1 = Benton and River; #2 = Downer and River; #3 = Galena and River) turn right.
